I'll be honest. For the price, I grabbed so many of the ESP 8266 based modules, I havnt really had time to play with them all much. The raspberry Pico just came out, and I cant even get that $4 board because I have 35 ESPs sitting here waiting for a project... I did fire up and run a test program on each of them, including the D1 Minis, and they all (ALL) worked as expected. In fact, of anything I've gotten from Banggood so far, i've expected at least some of the microcontrollers to not work. But they all do. Every last one. So you have no excuse now. You have to buy 50 of them. Or so... Give or take a couple... I dont know man, what do you want from me? They are fast, they are fun, and they are wifi capable. Your project will make happy.
